DuPont Consumer Finishes at Ambiente 2014:
New Teflon® Infinity Rock Series for quality cookware with attractive stone textures

Teflon® Print Designs can upgrade cookware with logos, icons or messages, and turn it into fan articles. A recent example is a frying pan featuring the logo of ‘Schalke 04’ – a popular German soccer club. Teflon® Print Designs recently received the coveted ‘Promotional Gift award’ 2014 in the ‘finishing technology’ category.  The award went to DuPont and its distribution partner Warimex GmbH.

Neu-Isenburg, January 2014. At this year’s Ambiente, DuPont Consumer Finishes launches the new DuPont™ Teflon® Infinity Rock Series for its non-stick coatings systems. The new colour range expands the design options for cookware by adding customisable stone textures inspired by nature. Also on display at Stand E50 in Hall 3.0 is the Teflon® ‘Colour Collection’ and ‘Print Designs’ offering, which can be used to upgrade non-stick cookware with different colours, logos, symbols or messages. Since their launch in 2012, these two concepts have been widely commercialised and are now well established in the market.

‘Infinity Rock Series’ – unlimited creativity inspired by the diversity of nature
The myriad variations of rock and stone provided the creative source for the new Teflon® Infinity Rock Series by DuPont. Its looks are inspired by natural textures such as basalt, granite, dolomite and sandstone. ‘Infinity Rock’ takes nature’s choices to a new level:  combinations of colours and textures can be customised for unique stone patterns.

Colour dots can be selected from eight basic colours (Black, Dark Grey, Light Grey, Grey, Maroon, Bronze, Champagne, and Almond) and just as many inks (Sand, Charcoal, Copper, Gravel Gray, Jasmine, Lime Green, Moonstone, and Satin Gold). Combining inks and basic colours, and selecting the density, size, and distribution of the individual dots opens up almost unlimited options for patterns and colour variations.

The ‘Rock Series’ is based on the robust and extremely resistant Teflon® Infinity 4-Layer non-stick coating system with ceramic particles. It makes cookware highly resistant to wear and abrasion. Pots, pans and bakeware will keep their good looks over time, even under high use conditions.

Well established in the market: ‘Colour Collection’ and ‘Print Designs’
Ambiente 2012 marked the original launch of the “Colour Collection” and “Print Designs” concepts. Since then, these have been commercialised widely. Today they are well established in the market.

The Teflon® Colour Collection opens up new opportunities to enhance the style and ambience of a kitchen or dining area with cookware in different trendy colours. Teflon® Print Designs can upgrade cookware with logos, icons or messages. Sports marketing professionals, for example, have embraced this technology to supplement their range of fan articles with a new product category offering distinct practical benefits. A recent example is a frying pan featuring the logo of ‘Schalke 04’ – a popular German soccer club. Teflon® Print Designs recently received the coveted ‘Promotional Gift award’ 2014 in the ‘finishing technology’ category.  The award went to DuPont and its distribution partner Warimex GmbH.
