Rohrbach, Germany, June 2015 – Kempf GmbH, a partner of the “Teflon® coatings for Industrial Bakery Solutions” initiative, recently opened its new plant in Rohrbach, Germany, with a certified Teflon® coating production line for high quality baking moulds and trays. Fully automated, the production site has the capacity to coat more than 2,500 square metres per day of bakeware with Teflon® nonstick surfaces for industrial bakeries. The value of the overall investment in the new plant is approximately 3,500,000 Euros, with around 2,100,000 Euros of the total spent on new technical equipment.

Initially focused on industrial bakery coating solutions for perforated trays suitable for pretzels (Teflon® coating S16), flat trays and slightly indented trays for buns and croissants (Teflon® coating F34), the facility is working with experts from Teflon® coatings on systems for many other products.

Their value is to create new opportunities for industrial bakeries to increase productivity and to improve the hygiene and safety of their operations, whilst simultaneously enhancing the quality and nutritional benefit of the baking products via frequent auditing. Teflon® coatings for Industrial Bakery Solutions are exclusively manufactured and marketed by a network of licensed partners. Kempf is licensed both as a marketer and an applicator.

 

A family-owned company, Kempf GmbH has specialised in bakeware and coatings for the past 40 years. The company offers a complete range of industrial bakeware like baking and baguette trays (perforated and non-perforated), tin sets, nonstick coatings, baking and storage racks.
