The formation of Du Pont de Nemours (Belgium), DuPont’s first manufacturing site on the European continent, was announced at a seminar for American and European businessmen at Expo ‘58 – the Brussels World’s Fair – in October 1958.

The acquisition of Danish company Danisco in 2011 brought DuPont to a prominent position as one of the larger companies in the country. Today DuPont Denmark employs about 1200 people, making Denmark one of our most important European locations in terms of production and innovation.

DuPont today counts more than 1,800 employees in France, which makes the subsidiary the DuPont number one employer in the region.

The Gulf Cooperation Council [GCC] is a part of the DuPont Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) region. GCC countries include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
