BERKELEY COLLEGE CELEBRATES THE ARTWORK OF THE
BROOKLYN STREETCAR ARTISTS GROUP
Berkeley College is exhibiting the work of artists from the Brooklyn Streetcar Artists Group (BSAG) at the Brooklyn Gallery, 255 Duffield Street, Brooklyn, NY. This exhibit is on display from July 12 through September 30. The gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. An artists’ reception will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Robert Keiber, Berkeley College Curator, said, “We are pleased to display the work of talented artists from BSAG—a nonprofit group whose mission is to create opportunities for artists and art lovers of all ages. I’m well acquainted with BSAG as a multicultural group composed of some of the finest artists working today in Brooklyn and the surrounding area.”
Founded in 2009, BSAG found a home in Coney Island Hospital, Brooklyn, maintaining a gallery year-round with three to four rotating shows annually. BSAG also works with local schools, showing students’ work between regular exhibitions. It has grown to become one of the premier organizations in Brooklyn to exhibit the work of current artists.
For more information about the BSAG artists and the exhibit, contact Mr. Keiber at rjk@BerkeleyCollege.edu or 212-252-2065.
