NEWARK RESIDENT SERVES AS STUDENT SPEAKER
DURING BERKELEY COLLEGE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

Photo Caption: Vakesha Archie of Newark, NJ, served as student speaker during the 2014 Berkeley College Commencement Ceremony, held Friday, April 25, at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford. Ms. Archie graduated magna cum laude, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Justice Studies – Criminal Justice. While attending Berkeley College in Newark, she served as Student Government Association President and volunteered for numerous community service projects. “The sky is the limit for each and every one of you, and I cannot wait to see where we go from here,” Ms. Archie told the graduates. “Today, I feel accomplished because I am finally living my dream, and I know my fellow graduates are feeling the same way. Today is our day and tomorrow is the beginning of the rest of our lives.”
