Beware of Job Offer to Reship Products

Reshipping job fails to deliver

Indianapolis, IN– September 8 2015 – BBB Serving Central Indiana is warning consumers of a company called MLC Transportation Pro, LLC advertising for a bogus position as a forwarding agent on multiple employment listing sites. An individual from South Carolina contacted BBB Serving Central Indiana reporting he signed an employment agreement with the company, who stated he would be paid for reshipping packages. He was informed he would receive payment of $2,700 plus 30% commission 30 days after the packages were mailed. He informed BBB that he indeed received two packages, followed directions, but now has difficulty reaching the indiviual who was designated as his supervisor and has not received any payment. BBB Serving Central Indiana has verified the address listed on their website and employment contract (17 W Market Street, Indianapolis) is currently a vacant building with boarded up doors. BBB urges job seekers to be cautious when responding to advertisements for positions involving reshipping.
