Murphy teaches courses in World Religions, Philosophy of Art, American Literature Survey I: Period through the Renaissance, American Literature Survey II: Civil War through the Present, Philosophy of Law, and Mysticism and Society. His research interests include Phenomenology, Hermeneutics, and Axiology.
